Rock Rails (Mopar vs. RRO)

Does anyone have a comparison or photos of the Mopar rock rails versus the RRO? I see the Mopar rails listed at $1200 and the RRO is about $450 with cover panels. Is there something that justifies the 3x price difference?

check out the video at 14:46. They have the Mopar on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyJBr9O-u8g

I don't know if the Mopar are worth 1200 but the fact that they fit the corrosion standards of Jeep would be a huge selling point to me. I'm considering them if I find a good trustworthy shop to install them in the New England area.

Rock Rails (Mopar vs. RRO)

The Mopar's are highly engineered and built of very heavy gage steel. They also meet all of the Chrysler corrosion specifications.

I put them to use the other day and they did the job very well. Installation is a lot simpler then the RRO's. The Mopar instructions are F'ed up tho.

The mopar have an OEM look. Street price under $900.

How are the instructions wrong? There is a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2W24c0wAx_s) how to install the Mopar Rails. Is that correct?

The Mopar instructions are not clear on which body holes to use for installation of the nutserts-mounting points for the sliders. I ended up putting one nutsert in the wrong place. I recommend fitting the rails in place and use a sharpi to mark the holes. After that it went smooth.

The RRO step rails are a great convenience for washing your TH, and gaining access to the roof toys you may install. They are also good for preventing damage in hostile environments like mall parking lots.

I got the RRO Step Rails. They were a PITA to install (Nothing lines up right) but got them installed with some friends' help.

Here are photos of them installed.

I think they add to the 4X4 character of the Cherokee. Even a couple of guys at the dealership asked where I got them and said they liked them a lot.
