I have Philips 9012 bulbs in for this video. But, be aware in this video I have almost all my vehicle lights on except from roof one and that's not on because we were facing an on ramp. None of my lights match, even my fog lights that are made by Rigid don't match the other lights I have made by rigid lol.
yes, it's been mentioned a few times that I need to remember to close the hood. However, in my defense I like to try and keep an eye on how the line spools so it doesn't hit the radiator. But I decided that it doesn't really matter because I have to be behind the wheel with one foot on the brake and the other flooring the gas so that the jeep doesn't get dragged and so the alternator has enough rpm to attempt to keep up.
I had to backup because the winch couldn't pull him out of the suction. I ended up getting a battery saver warning because the voltage dropped to 10.6v and let me tell you, the jeep doesn't like dropping that low, even for a moment. All kinds of things in the jeep quit working until I shut it off and restarted it.
I really wanted to do a double line pull, at least to the tree but I didn't have my second snatch block with me. Would have given me more pulling power. Recovery sadly can be 45 minutes of setup just to get a few feet, then take it all apart and set it up again for a different direction.
I could have likely gotten to him the way he himself got out and just dragged with out with a tow rope but I walked that area and it was very very soft. Myself and the other guy there were concerned if I went in and got stuck it was definitely going to take a wrecker to get me out and the tow bill would have been expensive at 1am lol.
