Mostly tornados and hail damaged areas. But I'll chase anything. Did a blizzard a few years back.

So, today I installed an X2 Power 94R battery in my Jeep from Batteries Plus. My old battery was toast. 274$ out the door with my military discount. Comes with 60 month full replacement warranty.

Now onto performance. My old battery, anytime I used something in the Cherokee that used a considerable amount of power the voltage would drop to below 12v. Steering, ACC, light bar or a winch.

Can't wait to try out my new battery and see how it holds up to winching.

@Mark_

Well I got a chance to really test the battery today. Winched out a welding truck stuck in the mud. He tried to pull his truck out with his wrangler and snapped his hitch in half. I double line pulled the front with with a snatch block and I ran a single line from my rear winch to a tree as an anchor. Battery voltage never dropped below 12.4v. With the old battery I was able to stall it out and the voltage would drop to 10v. Never had a problem. That new battery is awesome.

Owner of the welding truck said it scaled at 26,000lbs last he checked.

Wow... At first it didn't look too bad, but once the pulling started I could see how wet and soft that terrain was... What was he doing there ? lol.

Nice job with the winch.

You don't need a 4Runner... you need a D9 Caterpillar !

He was trying to hook up a trailer just off screen to my left. But when he stopped to put it in reverse his truck sank and without 4wd he was stuck because the rear tires just dug right in. But I'm shocked I was able to winch him out. Thankfully he wasn't suctioned into the ground otherwise without at least one more snatch block I wouldn't have been able to pull him out.

Small upgrade I made today. I fixed the dent in my bumper and plastic welded the broken pieces back together. Also, I took the hook off my winch line and just put a gator jaw soft shackle on. It's gonna be far more useful than the stock hook it came with.

Got another winch out this morning.

First part is of a low bridge I don't exactly clear anymore. Third is of a bad drop off I keep forgetting about and fourth is the winch out. Video is just a minute long.

Watch with sound on to hear me hit the bridge.

Her and her gps told her drive the road I took. She was trying to back out or something like that. I didn't ask. I showed up, did a job and left lol.
