Testing it out, I think I will put it over to the passenger side and bring a step stool. It's an 11.5 hour drive to the Outer Banks, NC. Not going for a bit yet, getting prepped and getting supplies.

There's a particular place in the depths of **** for those who speed up/slow down, hog the left lane, and folks who concentrate more on their phones than their driving.

So this morning, while making my morning rounds at the job site, I noticed the sound of water sloshing about, and I knew from before that it was happening on the passenger side. Originally, I thought it was the sound of my washer fluid making a noise or something, but thinking about it again, there's no way the fluid is where the passenger side door was.

So I did a quick search around here, founding about the drain holes on the doors, and then had a eureka moment, and thought that it likely the issue. I opened the door up, and saw that it had water in the area of the drain holes, plus some silt/mud. I figured at this point it was plugged up, but I needed some tool or something I could shove in there to unplug it.

I searched through our field office, and ended up finding a very sophisticated tool that will for now reside in my center console in the event this happens again. And it is called...a zip tie.

Needless to say, Badger had to take a massive piss as water was just flowing out like a drunken college student in the middle of a McDonald's parking lot.

Just finished installing front and rear LED indicators. Was annoyed by the slowness of the stock bulbs! As we have rear Amber indicators I did all 4, using a 50w 6ohm load resistor for each.

Watching that, this begs the question: Why do US-Spec KLs have the red taillight indicators, while euro-spec has the amber color? Personally, I would much rather have the amber as it is generally easier to spot compared to using the same color as your tail and brake lights.

And then I wonder if it's possible to buy euro-spec taillights.

Btw, the LEDs look sharp!

interesting! can this be done from the outside bottom of the doors? (without opening the door, which I think you mean removing an interior door panel?) I never looked

Have it a good wash and wax, vacuumed and protected the interior. Had enough Moab dust, had to get rid of it. Looks so much better now.
