Quick update. Made my first mini freeway trip this morning to see some customers. I set CC at 62 and after about 50 miles or so I checked my trip. I was averaging 29.5!! I am very satisfied with the highway number.

I have a long day tomorrow over 2 passes and about 600 miles. That should give me a solid idea of the range I can get and what a variable highway trip will give me.

Rarely use the remote start. I do have the cold weather package but I don't need it because it is always in my attached garage. 3,500 miles! Maybe it is still breaking in.

My Journey was FWD. I bought it for the color! Copperhead Pearl Metallic! I kept it two years and am now in the TH of my dreams. When I purchased the Journey, I was actually looking for a TH. The thought never ocurrred to me to search or order one! I was smitten by the color!

It might very well still be "breaking" in. By contrast, mine has over 55k miles on it, and last fill up, I averaged 21mpg, and that was with maybe 70/30 city/highway driving. The lowest mpg I got was 14.6mpg, and that was only because it was quite cold out at work, so I left my car running so I could get into it from time to time to stay warm, and I used remote start practically everyday that week.

Hopefully, you can get some better mileage as you accumulate more happy motoring miles.

Interior LED's added. I put in 6 wedges in the map, dome and cargo lights. I popped the vanity mirror off but the bulbs in there are teeny! I have a few leftover festoons which is what I expected to see but I need to find out what they are instead.

For kicks I put one in the license plate aND sure enough I get a dash error. I have some of these resistors leftover from my subaru (I ended up getting a new flasher instead using them) so I'm hoping they work. I'm gunna wait a day or two until I can get quality bulbs instead of the cheap non-matching pair I have left to use.

LED fogs out for delivery right now as well.

Got ahead and removed the factory fogs to make space for the new ones coming today. I recognized the socket as the same my Subaru, but I did not expect them to be identical. Left is the jeep, right is the subaru I pulled a while ago.

These things are so crappy the tabs on the jeep one snapped while removing them and the little movement of the bulb out of the housing broke the filament also. Just garbage. They must get these for pennies and put them in everything.

Amazon same day prime decided to wait 7 hours and deliver 20 minutes after the wife and I left for dinner... so they went in this morning. Solid construction for a $40 kit. Rated at 1,300 lumens each and 5000k, IP67, aluminum body for good heat sink. Sturdy and well built. Plug and play with no tab trimming as some similar fogs can be, although I think that's just the H16 conversion?

My light bar wiring harness has two sets of leads so I might still put a bar behind the grill as I've seen others on here do. Depends on how invasive the mount is.

Apologies for the pictures being sideways... going mobile today.

They may have changed something in the transmission as my 2017 shifts into 8th gear between 52 and 55 mph on a flat road surface.

My '15 will do 8th at 55mph but if the grade changes from flat by 1/2 a degree it'll shift back to 7th! I find if I'm careful with the foot, I get better MPG w/o cruise? First vehicle ever for that! (9th gear 78mph or more long downhill, very uncommon... almost a fantasy!) I'm averaging 20/21mpg 60 mile round trip highway using math, not mileage on dash. That however that seems only about 2/10th off from math figuring?

It is of course winter and crappy fuel so... I still think not so great. My daughter's GC Altitude gets about the same mileage, same trip bigger engine and heavier vehicle! We have two TH's and on the same commute one much better than other, same driver same conditions? About 2 to 3 mpg difference!!!?? One with most miles 19k get the worst? The other has 14K and gets the better mpg?? Really confusing but sure shows every vehicle different even though the same!

I find shifting down to slow vehicle kinda iffy? Going from 5th to 4th for instance and watching the tach, kinda strange...still kinda relies on the darn computer I think. I sure would bet that this vehicle is going to be a brake pad user, no normal downshifting in D at all, brakes have to do almost all the slowing, should be interesting?

Go Jeep!!!!
