I figured I'd start trying to keep track of any mods or additions that I make to my Jeep here.

First change (I think it was first) was to swap out the antenna for a Visual Garage shark fin. Two reasons; One, I think it looks better than the stick antenna, and second, I needed to be able to get into my car shelter for the winter and the original antenna was too tall for that.

Second was to change the backup bulbs for LED bulbs to try and get more light for the backup camera at night. The first set that I got worked fine, and was slightly better than the stock bulbs, and gave an error code, so I ordered a second set, trying to get closer to the stock bulb power draw and gain even more light. The second set is brighter, but stills gives the bulb out error. I don't want to splice resistors in, so I'll just have to live with the error.

Third change (again, don't exactly remember the order here) was changing the interior bulbs for LED's. Of course I order bulbs based on the manual and what online bulb selectors spec'd, and ended up with the wrong bulbs the first time around. At least they were fairly cheap. The second batch works, and I like the colour of the light a lot better. I later changed out the bulbs in the cargo area for ones that throw more of their light in the one useful direction instead of five sides.

Next came the headlights. Changed them out for Xenon Depot HID's. Much nicer colour temperature, and more light.

Added some orange accent trim on the door panels and around the uConnect screen.

Changed out the fog light housings for LED fogs with a white halo. I haven't hooked up the halo portion yet, but that will come later.

I think that's all so far. I'm currently making a switch panel to go in the cubby by the drivers door, with a fuse and relay box to go under the hood, and a few different lights that will run from this.

When installing the shark fin, make sure it take/handle satellite radio if you have it. I've heard issues arise from using the shark fin with that.....your mileage may vary though.

I would like to see it installed, is it friction fit or how does it stay in the opening?
