Thank you Kori I will be going to the dealer this weekend. I have a question I have a 2016 TH I would like to know what package I have and what it covers. I also never got my GPS Connected from the dealer due to the fact the sale person lied to me saying it was install and active and when I went back to the dealer they wanted to charge me $500 to active it.

I didn't say it was the power steering pump. I said that it was the idler pulley making a sound like a power steering pump low on fluid.

That's not quite what he said, but I'm pretty sure we don't have power steering pumps anyways....it's electric, not hydraulic.....most cars these days are.

Do you mean what vehicle package you have, or are you referring to an extended warranty (since you mentioned "what it covers")? Did the dealership not provide you with the window sticker/build sheet for your vehicle? If that's what you're looking for, we can get a new one sent to you--just go to http://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/jeep/EmailPage.html and put in a request for the build sheet. If you're looking for warranty coverage information, you can put your information into our site here: http://www.jeep.com/en/service-contracts/, and this will allow you to look up your plan and print or save the pdf of the plan.

Navigation is not included in all transactions. Do you have any paperwork stating it should have been built in to the sale of your vehicle? Were you able to speak with the salesperson who worked with you about this?

I appreciate all the info. you provided I will look into to does links. For the GPS the sale person said that he will activate it after everything sign and I got home I notice no GPS called back and I explain to the manager and he said that he would look into it. few weeks pass no call back so I just gave up.

I would follow up again, in person--sometimes face-to-face gets things done much faster!

Update:

Took my TH to the dealer on Sat. in the morning, I called the dealer in the afternoon to get the status on my TH. The service rep. inform me that they checked the belts, pulleys, and alternator no issue the service tech informed me that it might be a problem internally of the engine and that he would need to keep it until Mon. Well, Mon. came and I called this afternoon to get an update and I was informed that my service rep was off and that they still can't figure the issue and would need to keep it again. Now I am wondering what it could be.

The problem is the alternator they order a new one and will be ready on Friday.

How many miles are on your Cherokee. I had the issue with my old Patriot at 90k. Alternators have a freewheel mechanism that allows it to continue spinning faster when your RPMs drop, which is great to keep it from wasting potential energy from the momentum, but that is also the cause of premature failure on them as well.
