Hey wow guess I don't pay attention to my own posts and responses. I'm stationed in Fallon, but am from Sparks area. Only really gone up in the hills behind quick stop off vista, what abt u
Looks like fun; probably too late for this winter, though. I'll have to put that on my to-do list. Including a stop at Schott's in Bishop of course!
We're looking forward to a trip to Death Valley in February. I'm hoping DH will install rock rails by then. I'm sure we'll spend at least a couple days in Las Vegas, too. Any trails near Vegas we shouldn't miss?
For February, the trails are more limited by snow. I had a summary on another post, will try to find that -- a fellow who lives in Henderson asked. Most of my 4x4 is as a means to an end -- to get to hikes/climbs. The rocky Gap Road behind Red Rock is something of a classic.

Leviathian, Sweetwater, Pine Nuts, Back side of the Sierra's, Off of Hiway 4, and 28...etc. etc.

We could all get together every now and then and go out on expeditions etc etc...?
