Doing it in the dark wasn't the plan, it just ended up that way.

Ran Potash / Shafer/ pucker pass (long canyon) loop yesterday. All really easy stuff. The family rig, a stock Tundra TRD, came too.

The only tricky part was a boulder ledge inside pucker pass that wasn't mentioned anywhere, I wonder if it's developed within the last year. There's no way around since it's canyon walls on both sides, I just went straight down and used my left slider. The Tundra contacted its frame rail. We didn't stop for pictures, unfortunately.

The whole Shafer and Potash trail is so easy an fwd or ad1 could easily do it. The rock tunnel on long canyon could also be easily reached by coming up from the bottom side, and turning around, skipping the boulder in pucker pass.

Yes, thank you!!! That pile of rocks under the boulder on the right in the pic, definitely was not there yesterday LOL. We were impatient and just went over it anyway. RRO sliders FTW, I got away Scott free. The Tundra got a ding on its forward pinch weld body area, and hit the frame rail.

The photo is from one year ago. My guide book had long canyon as a easy green trail rating. ....wrong. Would not have made it going up hill.
