I am ready just not sure when or where. Where on MT Charleston were you, the actual road or off road in the snow?

I went up the Lee Canyon Road and took a dirt road just before the left turn to Kyle Canyon. It looks like a fun trail, not sure what it goes to. Right now I wouldn't try going down that trail again because there is enough snow that I very nearly got stuck. Probably most of the roads at that elevation are that way for a while. But if you stay lower there are still plenty of dirt roads. Nothing is marked though so you really have to keep your eyes open as you're driving up, they are easy to pass.

Also, I'm hoping my dad will be able to join us in his wrangler, I think he knows of more options.

My dad just linked me this site and it is the best I've seen so far for local trails:

I have a friend that would probably go in his Wrangler as well since he is already giving me crap about not getting it dirty yet. :P

This saturday my dad and I are going to do Lucky Strike/Grapevine Canyon. The trail starts about 10 miles up Kyle Canyon road from the 95.

If you want to join us we are meeting each other at the Albertsons gas station at the Durango exit of 95 around 10am.

Might have to give it try for something a little bit out. Work has me fairly busy at the moment, but take some photos for sure!

Well the day was almost a bust. The Lucky Strike trail, as far as I can tell, is blocked off now due to the shoulder work they are doing on the road up Kyle Canyon. We went a bit further to try another one and it was closed as well, I can only assume for snow concerns.

We decided to head back down to 95 and go up to Cold Springs (the prison turn off of 95). There is a pretty darn sweet trail that will take you all the way to Pahrump if you are daring enough. About 45 minutes in it started getting pretty rough with rocks and whatnot. Guess they had a lot of water flowing through there this winter.

Although we got turned around it was outstanding and we had a lot of fun. I took some video that I will try to start uploading to YouTube tonight and I'll come back and share it tomorrow. Perhaps in a new thread so that each trail I experience in the area can have its own thread for future reference and documentation. I know I've had a hard time finding trails so if I can pass on any info to locals I will.

Right on! Just did Rocky Gap on Saturday. It's in the Red Rock Scenic loop and it was an absolute blast. I would have to say that it is pretty much the limit of what the Trailhawk can do. I hit the skid plate two or three times, and there were spots where I wouldn't fit if I was an inch wider. Good time.

Make sure you get a quick deflator and a portable air compressor for your tires. I aired down to 20psi for the first time on Saturday and holy cow what a difference that makes! Street PSI is PUNISHING on the rocky trails that we get out here, but running at 20PSI it was pretty comfortable and I was able to probably drive twice as fast.
