Saguaro Cactus Viewing

Hey all you Arizonians:

I am heading down to the Phoenix area late next month. Wondered if anyone knows of a few hikes, locations where one might find himself in the center of a saguaro forest. Thanks in advance for any tips.

Picacho Peak is about 80 miles to the southeast along I-10. Not a saguaro forest, but some good views, trail to the top and saguaros. Saguaro National Park has two locations, east and west of Tucson.

Basically, get on I-10 and just keep going east.
zzjdzz and CRZY4X4 like this.

There are quite a few Saguaro's out where I live by the Superstition Mountains in East Mesa/ Apache Junction area.

Send me a PM and I can point you in the right direction.
