AZ Trail ride

Anyone here up for a run on Jan 25th?
There's a group from jeeppatriot.com going. Not sure where exactly yet, but somewhere around the Phoenix metro area.

So far, two FDII Patriots, one '01 Grand Cherokee, and me in my TH.

When you know where post it, I may be heading in a trip out of state but won't know for a few days.

We are leaning toward Sheeps Bridge it looks like.

North East and hit 7 Springs Rd.

Last time I was up there we hit some mud pits along 7 spring rd and it was a blast but they're porbably dried up now.

7 springs rd leads to a trail that eventually would bring us to the Sheep Bridge that crosses the Verde river. It's a great stopping point if we had kids with us as the sheep bridge is really cool.

I've been dying to cross the Verde (probably not a big deal at all, I think there's a good crossing point right near the sheep bridge) because the trails across the Verde look very very cool...

In fact now that I'm looking at the map, there's a trail that looks like it would take us back down to the Horseshoe **** and back into civilization.

Well I don't think I'll be making it in as the TH is in the dealer getting the Tranni looked over. On a positive note the rental they gave me was a Wrangler sport, which does have the trail rated badges but is quite low. I have my 96' GC limited 5.2 but it's not lifted. I'll see what I can do to make it sounds like a good little trip.

Bring the GC. It sounds like there will be at least 7 or 8 total. With maybe 3 wranglers of various years, and a GC, and a Toyota... plus the 2 Patriots and me in the TH.

Good luck with the transmission Ol'Greg.
Without you, I think I'll be the only new Cherokee there.
