We had a great day yesterday. Good people, perfect weather, and a great trail.

Carefree and myself were there with our black and white TH's.

Then 4 other guys from the patriotforums that I still visit.... even though only one guy had a Patriot! (two others have Patriots but didn't bring them)

The TH's didn't miss a beat on the trail. Tackled all of the obstacles with relative ease. (pictures and video are forthcoming). The Patriot struggled on a couple of spots but we got him up with some carefull spotting and stacking of some rocks. The lifted WJ though... he got himself stuck and it took us over an hour to pull him out. Somewhere we have a picture of the my TH pulling the XJ Cherokee, pulling the lifted WJ.

Once everyone gets the pictures/videos shared, I'll put some links here.

Thanks again ua for making us feel so welcome in your off road circle. We had a great time. Once I get around to edit the video I will post them for everyone to enjoy. I agree. The THs did extremely well. Didn't miss a beat.

BTW - on the way back, on the freeway, I lost a front trim piece. Must have hit it on the trail. Slender plastic piece just below the lower honeycomb grill.

Went to the dealer yesterday to see what it costs.... hold on to your wallets folks: $220!!

So, guess who's going without the little trim piece for a while?

Anyone run this lately? I chicken out about 28 miles in at a really rocky incline. Seemed like I would want to have rock rails...

Aggie,
We ran it in the spring. A couple of TH's, a modified XJ (late 80's Cherokee), a TJ (Wrangler), a Patriot FDII, and a couple of non-jeeps.

The Patriot struggled at a couple of spots and needed some stacking of rocks to make it up. The TH's had no issues at all.
