I did BBRSP about 20 months ago in an '04 Nissan Pathfinder (pre-TH) and have to pretty much concur w/ the thorough report from @WeekendWarrior
. Lot's of graded dirt roads and plenty of side trails for 'other opportunities.' We came from the Park HQ, along the river road (I second the beauty of that route - bluebonnets and other stuff were having a great year when we went through) and were bound for Alpine. We took a few of the 4x4 high clearance routes and I didn't find anything a TH shouldn't be able to do. Lots of good steps, washes and sand as already described. I chickened on a couple of spots because we hadn't really planned the trip for wheeling, so were also 'minimalist prepared.' There are plenty of routes for any skill level, and if you are just going N/S the main 'road' through can franly be done by anything 2x2 (except probably a really low car). Only real dange is if there had been a washout and it hadn't been graded lately.
