So it looks like:

Confirmed: @MarinR00 @gravitywell @HazzardSky

Maybe: @ninoshrv @RegalTraveler

So admin notes:
This trail is doable with a stock KL. You won't need your rear locker, but we are going to take it nice and slow like good off-roaders (5mph) and enjoy the ride. This white van made it to the top.

While its a very tame trail, there are one or two semi-technical parts including a drop that will require a good spotter and perhaps the movement of some rock (see pic of 4 Runners coming up)

The trail is tight in parts so you may get a pinstripe or two.

The trail is heavy use so the sooner we get out the better. Be ready to pull to the side or back up.

Its half trail ride, half explore/adventure. Bring plenty of food, water, gas and good cheer.

CB radio is preferred. If you have walkie-talkies bring 'em and we can relay.

The trail

Well, the KL is staying home for this trip, so it will be fun for me to get used to the WJ again. That thing has no lockers, and open differentials, so I may be the one that needs helping. Though if that van can make it, i'm sure i'll be fine Jordan will be with me as well, and I will be trying to get her behind the wheel.

I remember last time there was talking of doing the loop the opposite direction, so we come up that climb rather than down. Is that still a consideration?

Think we'll need more fuel than a full tank?

Eg. Need an extra fuel container?

I know we talked about it, but I thought we decided the way we went was better for our vehicles. This was based on another forum member, who went 'up' and ripped off some of their paneling and commented if they had known they could have gone down, they would have.

My personal feeling is with new vehicles and new drivers we stick with what we know. But if the group wants to change it up, I'm down.

Nahhhh - just fill up at the gas station. If memory serves, we'll be just fine.

I'm game either way, just wanted to toss it out there since I remembered that conversation. I haven't done the trail, so I will defer to your experience. I personally tend to prefer climbs than descending, but more importantly we won't want to damage our vehicles so let's do what we know

I am Hype. And I finished up work on the WJ today, so all is well unless the light brackets I ordered come in before the weekend. New brakes all around, adjusted stance, gear mounted, and redid all the wiring under the dash that I added for the lights.

Bring her with you!

On our first trip to Peter's Mill, @MarinR00's friend brought his daughter along for the ride.

I guess, that depends on the age of your daughter though.
