Northern VA - GWNF In the next few days?

Hi Guys,

I live In Linden VA and work In Herndon VA, anyone else in the area free this coming Sun, Mon or Tue to go run a trail or 2 in George Washington National Forest? Just picked my TH up last week and dying to get it out in the woods. If not, maybe we could plan a group trip further out in the future?

You made this sound close. I just got back from camping Shenandoah last weekend. Nope nope nope, not this weekend. I think Sunday is supposed to be rainy anyway.
Did your dealer install Pinstripes, or are you looking to get those "aftermarket" j/k

lol, The dealer didnt mention them, guess i'll have to find some aftermarket :P The rain could make it that much more interesting . I want to check out these down by harrisonburg, http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/vbwt/si...MNR&site=MNR06, its a little bit of drive I know, but its absolutely gorgeous out there this time of year, if you make a day out of it its not so bad. Let me know if you'd be interested in trying to get a group trip together for early 2016, getting a handful of us out for a day trip would be pretty cool I think

I don't know that I would be able to make it out this week (Tuesday would be the only possibility for me) but if we plan something a bit further out and get a group together, I would definitely join. I'm in Maryland, so it is a bit of a hike for me, but as a day trip it would be worth it for sure.

Can't do anything this weekend; probably not the remainder of the year. Keep me in mind for 2016, though.

We've had a few Cherokees out at Flagpole in August.

@MarinR00 has a thread up, talking about doing one before the first snow.
