Same for Windrock which is by far not my favorite place. It is really a Side-by-side/ATV park that allows full sized rigs in places. The result is fairly tight trails where "pin-striping" is pretty common. We drove through so much brush last time there that I had to replace several of our top seals that got destroyed.

I'm also considering Slade, KY but this would be more sight seeing. Slade has lots of nice trails but they go from dirt roads to gnarly crawls pretty quick without much in between.
I've actually never made it to either Uwharrie or Windrock. So I really can't say much about either.

Bump....

I'm bummed there isn't more interest. I was looking forward to earning some KL trail cred with y'all.

Count me in!

And if you want to move it to another state, that maybe cool too. RC is about a 5 hour drive for me, so will likely have to bring teardrop and camp

I will try to keep this list of "going" current:

1- SS_Syndicate (Jay, Alana, Kegan)
2- @DZOnline
3-
4-
5-
6-
7-
8-
9-
10-
I was hoping to just update the original post as I have done on every other forum I have been a member of or ran, but for some reason I can't. It seems initial post edits are blocked after some time ???

....anyway, glad another is in! (Thanks DZOnline) That is all I really need to lock in the date and location. If the group is light as we roll into the week before I will post on some other places. I's like to get 5-10. If that's all from here, awesome, if not, that's cool too. (I guess what I'm saying is feel free to bring friends) LOL... We are good to lead up to 10, more if there are not too many NEW-Bs.

.

Awesome, you are added. RC works a bit better for us. We know the area and trails well so it is a good place for us to push the KL in spots while allowing other to take bypasses. We will be camping as well, likely roll in fairly late Friday night.

FYI, been applying for a job (after 17 months voluntary unemployment, it's time) so the only issue is if my new employer needs me and I can't get out of it. Should know early next week regardless.

Uwharrie is awesome. And you stood me up for Windrock over Memorial Day!

Speaking of Uwharrie and Anthrocite - expect come BoH news in the coming months.

Back to the threat at hand, would love to but heading out to Green Ridge. Perhaps a summer KL Rausch Trip?

Lol, it's not standing you up when (a) it hasn't happened yet... And (b) I told you beforehand!!!

Ha ha, trust me; I'd go if I could!!! My boss would kill me if I asked for that weekend off in addition to what I'll already be gone for. (Training with a couple extra days added in!)
