Tacky?

Hey guys and gals quick question. Would it be tacky to get the trail hawk decal on the good put in my non-hawk Cherokee?

It wouldn't bother me. I have a TH. What would bother me is if someone put the Trailhawk badge on their non-TH cherokee!!!

P.S. I didn't even realize that the good decal was only on the TH's

Anybody can put a hood decal on. I don't think its a big deal. Now if you were to put badges or something like that, then that's a no no.

No different in my opinion then someobdy with a non TH putting tow hooks on. Or somebody putting BFG mud terrains on a non Rubicon jeep wranger. Only the Rubicon model can get those from the factory

Go for it.

2014 Trailhawk. Bright White exterior. Black Leather interior. V6. All available options (Cold Weather, Comfort / Convience, Sunroof, tow package, hood decal, Nav radio, 9 speaker sound system) , 245/70/17 Firestone Mud Terrains, BVG roof rack, LED fog lamps, LED interior lamps, LED back up bulbs, hood decal pinstripe, rear mounted hitch tire carrier, AFE Cold Air Intake

Just because it's on three TH from the factory does not make it a TH thing.

In 1991, I painted the center of my 74 Jeep J20 flat black.

Also, more than a few cars have left the factory that way since then. It's yours. Do what you want to it.

Agree with most of those above (hood decal is utilitarian and not exclusive to TH, go ahead)... And would like to share a story (this more applies the the adding of the TH badge)

Several times in my travels i've been approached by someone selling fake rolex watches, etc... In singapore one of my travel pals was looking at one, and said "its a really good watch any way, automatic, looks good etc... if they ewerent trying to sell it as a rolex it would still be a good watch. Should i get it?"

me: "No, it s a fake rolex"
him: "But its a really really good fake"
me: "its a fake"
him: "so you would never buy a fake, no matter how authentic it looked?"
me "No"
him: "Why not, no one would be able to know"
me: "i would know"

When you want the real thing, save your pennies, you'll appreciate it more.
