I cheated with my sliders and had a local shop rig up and install a set for me from a drawing I did. Came out at $950cdn installed and finished but without the cover plates. We figured they would just hide dirt and rust.

One thing I've noticed after being on gravel roads is the gap between the plates and the body tend to get a lot of really fine sand gravel stuck down there and it's impossible to remove without removing the sliders. Going to try sealing the top edge to keep out the crud and leave the bottom open so it still drains and drys. Just waiting for a string of hot dry days to do it.
Thank JKL, I was thinking of running a bead of black silicone along the top to seals the gap, they are line-x coated so hopefully no rust spots. Also noticed when you pull the plastic OEM bottom rocker to install the rails they were already full of fine grit.

The rails look great! Do the rails stick out further than your wheels? I can't make it out in the pic that you took of them.

That's true of course, the stock plastic rockers as well as all the other plastic ( fascias, bumpers, wheel well trims and liners) all hold an incredible amount of dirt that stays there until you take the plastic off whic for the vast majority is as long as they own the car

Do you have any closer pics to see the LineX coating? If I do buy these I think I'll get them LineX'd as well. Did you just go with a flat black? They look nice. I won't even kid myself and try to do the install myself. No amount of beer will make that successful.

I had mine sprayed with line-x. Really like the look! Black was the only color available. If you jeep is parked outside a lot I would suggest getting the UV protection on it as well. I noticed a slight change in "shine" and it's been less than a year I've had them on.

Cool. Thanks for the side shots. It looks like it sticks out about an inch or so.

Those look fantastic! I went to their website and they have two listed "Rock Sliders" and "Super Sliders", but from the pics I found on their website I can't tell which ones you bought. I really like the look though. Can you tell me which ones? I've been looking for something just like that, that will support being stood on for reaching the roof.
Thanks.
