The filter is $14 as well from walmart.

Hi everyone, Just picked up my 2016 Trailhawk on Saturday. Wife preferred the ride over the limited model so we let go of my 2013 Ram 2500 cummins diesel and brought our first jeep home to Pinawa. Been looking the vehicle over top to bottom and sourcing a good set of mud flaps as Mopar does not offer any for the Trailhawk - something about active drive ll not compatible. Going to pick up a set of Rally Armor UR universals on Thursday when we are in Winnipeg. Would appreciate any tips or things to watch for from current owners. Thanks!

Tires for sport

Hey there, have any of you put new tires on your sport and gone to a larger size? My sport is a 2014 so the tires are 225/65R17 I've read that others in the forum have been able to go to the trailhawk size (245/65R17) on their sports just wondering if anyone here has done something like that.

If you have, did you have any concern over the difference to your speed with the larger tires(i.e. when speedo says 100 you are actually going about 104)?

Unfortunately I can't help you out with this one but maybe someone else could chime in. I'm still rocking my stock sport tires and rims with black plastidip so they don't stick out so much. They're actually in my basement right now (got the winter tires and rims on) with the plastidip half off as I've been trying to redo them for the summer. 2 years and the dip has some nicks and scrapes in spots so I'd like to redo them before I put them back on for the summer. If I could afford new rims and tires I'd go that route but I have too many other expenses currently.

Its been a while since your post, did you manage to figure it out? Pics if you did!

Yeah, I kinda fell off of here for awhile.

In the end I went with 235/65R17 Firestone Destination A/T on the factory sport rims.

The size difference is roughly 0.5" so roughly a speed difference of 1‰ (so when speedo says 100 I'm actually going 101).

I just had them done at Waverly Chrysler as I had them seeing what other sizes I could go with (and in case they needed to adjust the speedo).

I'll try and get some pics next week.

Your plasti-dip intrigues me as I have been thinking of doing something with those rims.

Did you go solid black or a pattern?

Matte or glossy?

@villiam, just checked out your garage on here and noticed you have the black/iceland gray interior. Was this an option for you? I have the Morocco interior (beige/black) but I would have much preferred the gray.

Waverley Chrysler is who I generally deal with too since I work nearby. They're alright, but they havent fixed my transmission problems lol.

As far as the plastidip goes, I just did matte black, I also did my front grills at the time and they're holding up well 2 years later. No pattern, I'm not that fancy and it was my first time with plastidip. Maybe next week if I have them done I'll snap a pic and post it.

It was an option for me which I was glad for. I think it looks nice

I was surprised when I was at the dealership picking options and saw that colour choice. The website at the time did not show it as an option.

I needed gas, and figured I'd get a wash. Here are some pictures.

Im surprised I didn't have that option when I ordered mine, I only had the beige choice. I would have much preferred the gray interior, goes better with the black in my opinion and looks less like my grandmas car (all beige inside and out lol).

By the way, I want your tires! I may have to work on wearing mine down so I have an excuse to upgrade lol. Do you notice a difference in road noise with the tread? They look a little more aggressive than the stock firestones.
