Attention Trailhawk Owners:
I would like to sell a custom made aluminum grill guard that fits a 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk. The guard is made of solid aluminum with steel mounting brackets. It requires absolutely "NO DRILLING", but does require removing the front tow hooks and a minor amount of plastic around the tow hooks and on the lower part of the front air dam. The guard is in excellent condition and is very rugged. I am selling it because I will be trading my Cherokee for a pickup truck and the dealer has no interest in the grill guard. The guard is approximately one year old. The guard was made for my 2014 Trailhawk, but would possibly fit later models as well. It will not fit other Cherokee models. If anyone is interested, please contact me at gapper77@embarqmail.com and I will be happy to answer any questions or forward additional photos. Thank You.

With no upper bracing, I wonder how rigid it is?

Unless you run into a building or another vehicle, it isn't going to fail. The upright frame is 3/8 thick aluminum plate and is 4" wide at the narrowest point. The crossbar tubing is 2 1/2 diameter and has a 1/4 wall thickness. The guard mounts at 2 points on both sides via steel mounting brackets. One bracket is under the vehicle near the aluminum frame (what little of a frame there actually is). The other mounting point is the point where the tow hooks are mounted. The tow hooks must be removed in order to install the guard.
