Acetone is a great glue/goo/sticky stuff remover. Possibly the best. But... it melts plastic, so beware

Rubbing alcohol is the answer , also called "isopropyl alcohol". Walmart should have it. I have used it many times, let it soak a bit.

Dab a rag into some gas and rub off the sap. You don't want gas on paint everyday but it's the best at dissolving tar I've found. I can only assume it will solve your sap issue. On a side note the paintless dent repair is awesome on minor/medium hail damage. I had 3 vehicles repaired last year and you can't even see a ripple.

Hello, I know this thread is kinda old, but I'm enjoying looking through older threads and commenting.

Ive found that hand sanitizer on a Clorox Cleanup wipe works wonders. They don't work separately, but combined the San basically wiped off. Put a bit of sanitizer on the sap, then clean it with the Clorox wipes.

I've found parking my ride in a garage each night eliminates the issues above entirely.
