100% of torque available to the rear, does not mean 0% of torque to the front. The front wheels are always driven. The rear axle will go to 100% engagement! Meaning both front and rear differentials are fully locked to the transmission output. Only the rear differential is able to reduce the ammount of lock from the transmission output. I think they should have stated, In sport mode the rear axle will go to 60% clutch engagement limiting slip in the drivetrain giving a feel the rear wheels are helping drive the vehicle. Because the front are still recieving 100% from the transmission output, not 40%. This stuff isn't rocket surgury.
