I don't get the pic? Why is it significant?

I was saying that I've liked the jeep. I took the time to black it out. Windows, grills, emblems, rims. To think if I have a buy back or something I'd lose all of that. Oh well I guess.

Problems? Entire new rear end to start at 14k miles. New thermostat. Coolant leak. Burning oil. Transmission likes to hesitate at low speeds at random times.

I was looking around underneath and noticed gear oil all around the axle housing. I took her in for service, and they said they had to replace the entire rear axle assembly. I never took it off road.

I own a 16' but work for enterprise car rental at one of our service centers and so we have mechanics that work on our vehicles and I believe everything that has failed is 14-16'. They said Lat week that thermostats were on national back order and then they weren't but it sounds like they are again.

Lol, is there anything but 14-16?

Interested in what typical failure you see. Care to elaborate more on what are the common issues?

It could just be affecting the 14's or 15's only. That's why I stated its 14-16'.

Most commonly the vehicle will heat up but will only blow cold air. That's all I know of right now. Haven't been in the office for the last few days.

apologies for the thread jack, but i think i have this problem. heater seems to work fine, but after a while (anything longer than a 20-30 minute drive), it'll start blowing cool air, seemingly regardless of what temperature was set. i understand it's supposed to maintain whatever temperature is set and theoretically that means blowing cold air to regulate ambient temp; but it shouldn't be blowing cold air if i have the cabin temp set to 75degrees and both my wife and i agree that the car was not that warm.

is there a recall or TSB addressing this at all? (i've seen the issue mentioned a couple times in other threads, but couldn't glean much info from them.)

You might set the Evic to Coolant temp and take note of it when it is blowing hot, and compare that number to when it is cold. If it's the same, there is a problem in the Climate Control.
