Looking at wire charts, I believe 1/0 gauge would be needed (150A rating @12V). And the poor Cherokee battery would take a real hit with a 150A load that lasts more than a few seconds. Here's what 1/0 looks like...picture is from Google :

There are a lot of lists like this one available on the internet: How Much Power Do Your Appliances Use?. According to this list, a driver could shave off some morning prep time at home by using their waterpik on the way to work .

Of your wall adapter is there to reduce electricity like with small electronics and such you should be fine.

Anything with torque or heating elements probably won't work. The draw just can't be churned out. A laptop usually. A CRTvideo player / VCR of olden days...probably not.

What shall we have? An '82 Margaux! Is it any good? Good....?, It will make you believe in God!

Finally looked at the little words on the cover and it is only 110v...

Any ideas why they didn't use 120?

THE AUSSIE ones put out 240 Volts, but it does say any high amp device wont work and the system will cut it off to prevent battery drain.

Likely the same power though, so roughly 0.6A on your 240V compared to our 1.2A (roughly) on 120V (or 110V), for 150 Watts of power. Same 12A draw (max) on the Cherokee's 12V (DC).

When you travel with kids and electronics, it's great. Last year they had two iPads and one 3DS charging with a 120V 4 USB port smart charger.

Yeah I just looked those up on Amazon, and even the larger ones (12" x 24") are rated at only 50W, so not a problem for the KL inverter. These pads are designed to heat slowwwwwly, nothing like a hair dryer (1500+ Watts) or a coffee machine (1200+ Watts).
