thank you for the info we think alot alike yes they did say drive like you normaly would not to easy with the 2.4l 2500 to 3500 rpms is normal when takeing off or going up a steep hill,an i am impressed with it so far haveing a 6.6l in my camaro, its not built for speed but for cruiseing the 2.4l . was on lot for just 3 months from factory ,my thought was if it had been a year, yes i always change the oil on used cars ,i think its realey comes down to the individual an what they choose right or wrong ehehe ,my dealer said 3k so will change the breakin oil at about 3k ,after that about every 7k with full syth,i say about as i like to see how dirty oil is ,if its clean mabey a bit longer ,i know they got the once a year oil out now,at one time they wanted us to think oil shelf life was 3 months ,only to get us to buy more oil ,not being to hard my cars in the past 5k was good the last say 10 years useing full synthetic ,but like the book says why not check like once a month or like every fill up wich for me is like $20.00 a week every 2 weeks ,,i aslo think people that drive the car harder should change it more ,not highway miles ,people that are on there gas alot or pull a trailer . pennzoil will be my choise ,i switch from 87 to 89 in the winter,an been known to use 93 every now an then too,yes i like to take very good care of my cars,an a great reason to join the forum too,my average yearly miles will be 6 to 8k at most,so will get the full warranty too ,thanks again
