Battery voltage on EVIC at rest vs whilst Driving

Started another post that had this question in, but looking to get an idea of "Normal ranges".

Looking at the EVIC battery voltage screen with the key in run and engine off sits right on the 12v line. When the engine is started, and pretty much the whole time while driving it reads 14v (more like 14.5v).

Is that normal range? I tried driving for 20-30 minutes and then checking that resting readout again, but it sits at 12v.

What say you guys? Normal? What do you see?

EDIT: This is what I see when key is set to ON

I believe that 14 to 14.5 is normal while running.

We have a LONG technical thread covering this. The outcome basically is that it's fairly normal. Unless the jeep is giving you an error you should have nothing to worry about. Mine bounces around from 12.8-14.5v.

Got a link to that? I'd be interested... My question was really around the 12v with engine off. I was under the impression it should be higher.

With the engine off, 12v is the typical voltage a car battery should come to rest at. Lower than 11.7 and things start to have problems.

This one? Battery behavior

I'm running ~12.6V engine off after 24 hours and it dropped to ~12.4 after 3 days.

Are those numbers testing the battery directly using a tool? Or just going off the Battery Voltage EVIC #. My concern was 12v was too low with engine off, but I am going off of the EVIC # alone
