Pedal Commander on 2017 Cherokee

Hello all, Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere; I did a search but couldn't find a thread about this.

I ordered a Pedal Commander throttle response controller to hopefully improve some of the lag on the throttle. Their website said this model would fit my vehicle but it doesn't seem to and I'm wondering if anyone has gotten one that fit and what part number that was? Perhaps they sent me the wrong one, or perhaps there is no Pedal Commander for this model? I believe I am trying to install it correctly as there is only the one possible plug into the gas pedal.

Any help would be nice. I'm still waiting to hear from PedalCommander.com

Quick update: Received response from PedalCommander.com that they mistakenly sent the wrong one and will be shipping out the replacement asap. Pretty responsive customer service; lets hope the gas pedal will be as responsive after install. I'll keep this thread updated for anyone interested in the result from the product.

It appears there's one for the Jeep KL. I'm curious how it works and if it's worth $300! Please keep us posted. Thanks.

Sub's. Reading reviews online and feedbacks looks real good.

Welcome to the forum and I never heard of a Pedal Commander, so something new for this old guy to learn. Hope you enjoy your KL and the Pedal Commander does whatever it is supposed to do. I won't be like the other posters and say my foot is my Pedal Commander--my wife sitting beside me thinks she is my "pedal commander" when I am driving.

By the way use the knob by your knee and turn it to sport and it too will increase the peddle response as well as change the shift pattern

It won't remove the 'lag' as this is the transmission deciding what gear to use. All it does is shorten the throw of the pedal giving full throttle at around 3/4 pedal travel.

Some love them, others bag them. To me I can replicate the improvement by simply pushing the pedal further

Cheers, Dave.
