Replace DTCM possible after effects?

Took my 2016 TrailHawk in for its oil change (40,000km) and while it was there I mentioned that in reverse and drive it had an audible high pitched hum.
They said there was a TSB on the DTCM which was causing the hum. Fixed under warranty a week later when the part came in.

The next day all of a sudden my odometer started to blink. No other issues with my Jeep. Hum seems to be gone.
A search here on site shows other people with the same issue for the blinking but all kinds of reasons why its doing it.

The closest reason I could find that could be a possibility is its related to one computer not talking properly with another. Is the DTCM is a computer part?
If so maybe they didn't do a re-calibration or something.

Of course issues always crop up on the weekend so a call to service is in order Monday. Will keep you informed.

From memory, the DTCM is the drivetrain control module which is a computing device.

Just needs a quick "Proxi Config" to get all of the Modules back in alignment. Only takes a few minutes.

It seems that this was the issue.
Had it in for about a half hour. Said the first one did not take for some reason but he assured me this one did. No more blinking odometer.
One more thread for a blinking odometer look up. Hope anyone in the future that reads this has such an easy fix.

"Said the first one did not take for some reason ". Translates to: "Procedure not followed for some reason".
