Question what is in the 2017 cherokee trailhawk towing package

I would like to know what is in the 2016-2017 Cherokee Trail Hawk towing package? Thigs like oil coolers, everything except gear ratio.

I think the only thing is a full size spare. Heavy duty cooling, transmission cooler, 180 amp alternator come with other options.
There is some sort of a wiring harness under the dash for a trailer brake I think?
I was hoping the drive train and suspension would have more heavy duty parts but I am not aware of any.
Maybe the rear coil springs are stiffer to support the weight on the trailer hitch?
Was hoping the C clutch snap ring in the 9 speed transmission was stronger?
I have the same question about the 2014 TH's?
I have asked my dealer about this and it seems to be a great mystery.
Hopefully you will get some illuminating replies.
My theory was if the TH can tow 4500 pounds then it can get me up my hill in 4WD low when it is not towing anything with ease and won't over heat.

That's kinda of a loaded question...

2016 or 2017 ?

For the 2016s, it should be like the 2014s and 2015s. Oil cooler, extra tranny cooling, hitch receiver, 4 and 7 pin wiring, full size spare (for non TH, because TH always has a full size spare). There is also extra sway control programmed in. And yes shorter final gearing.

Not sure about the 2017s, you'd have to check the owner's manual, build sheet or window sticker. One thing has changed in 2017 that i know of : you can now order a *trailer prep* package on some trims, and Tow can be added to the Overland. Other than that, beats me...
