I personally ran a Curt Wiring harness. It plugs into the tail lights and a power source. (I don't recall having to cut any factory wiring) I didn't bother with the factory harness.

$400 for the Hitch? I just got one off Amazon NEW MOPAR OEM for $150 shipped. yes its USD but the exchange isn't that bad. That Great guy at the dealer didn't do you any favors.

Would this installation be difficult having the park assist sensors on the rear fascia??
