The firewall? I've only seen the instructions go to the interior panel. What harness did you get?

I bought the "factory" harness from my Jeep dealership. The instructions that came with the wiring harness are dated 7-22-14 (bottom left corner of the pages). Other instructions I found online were dated 10-10-13. Images below are descriptions for going through the firewall.

I checked mine yesterday when I got home and it, too, has a separate wire labeled 'C' in the instructions that goes through the firewall.
