That's a normal amount of movement. No harm.

That's a bit more than I'd expect to see, but not horrible. Are you just seeing paint wearing off or actual damage to the receiver tube or the draw bar?

If it's not a well-known brand (like Reese or Draw-Tite) it could be bad quality. Try a different one from a different vendor and see if it makes a difference.

You can also tighten it up with something like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001CMUV4

Its a Reese ball mount and I tried a few others in their they all aren't flush like they should be. I know they all have some wiggle room but when I try to tow anything with it the rattle is terrible and it feels like hte trailer is about to poop off any time I hit even the smallest bumps. I think the link you provided should do the trick to fix the problem

If you are getting a lot of rattle, your tongue weight could also be too low. You should have 10-12% of total (trailer + payload) weight on the ball.

Uhaul trailers are very loose and don't tow nearly as well as travel trailers. When I tow a 6x12 it rattles around terribly. When I tow my travel trailer I don't have any problem, even offroad.
