Empty Trailer Towing and Break-in

I would say no. But who knows. Personally, if you aren't looking at towing 3000lbs or more I wouldn't worry about the break in period. I bought my travel trailer and a week later left on a 6000 mile journey across the Rocky Mountains. I did not take it easy.

Maybe not. Off the top, it does not present the lateral loads and jerking to the driveline and suspension a trailer does. It also does not present the frontal area drag a trailer does (e.g. up to 39.44 sq ft for the 3.6 with tow). But it's better than nothing.
