This looks like a nice setup - I'm considering a battery powered unit - but as we know the batteries run down. I've been considering the lights at http://www.itowlights.com/ These folks claim the batteries last a 72 hours.

Regarding the Towmate light bar - is there a different kit required when using yellow or red turn signals?

Please update us on your purchase decision..........

Don't know about yellow lights, you can email them, I did for a question I had and they were prompt to respond.

No so sure I would want the hassle of recharging the batteries, the 12v receptacle in the trunk can be set in the fuse box to be powered directly on the battery, which would make the connection to the light bar very easy.

This http://www.rvupgradestore.com/32-Wireless-Tow-Lighting-System-p/55-5458.html sells the light bar for $235 which is $65 cheaper than Towmate.

I've got two questions: First, how do you navigate inside the owner's manual on the DVD by page number? I can't find any page numbers at all on my computer and I see no way to move around inside the manual's pages other than by searching for topics. I get no response for a search by "page #".
Second, on my 15 TH my battery slot #92 is a double slot and vacant. Slot 91 is listed as the rear power outlet but is a single slot with a 20amp fuse. Did the wiring scheme change for the 15s? I suspect I am going to have to do a dealer service call to work this out. Also, the outlet works fine off the accessory position the way it is with the fuse in slot 91.

I wrote to Jeep earlier today and asked them why the change and if they'd tell the differences in editions... we'll see what they have to say.

Just tried the download 5 min ago, the PDF is named 2015-Cherokee-OM-1st,pdf and it has "First Edition" on the last (back) page. The one I downloaded in Sept says "Second Edition".
