Lightbulb Trailer socket

Howdy all!

Can anybody here tell me if there is a switch in the trailer socket that deactivates the park sensors?
We have this in New Zealand and Australia on 'factory' installs. After 3 starts the ODO flashes and a message pops up that the Park Sensors need servicing. I know the switch just kills the power to that module which seems kinda crude really!

Love to hear!!

Oliver
