Cherokee KL Mudflaps

Surprisingly mudflaps are not available for the KL Cherokee which seems odd for a vehicle designed to go off road. US flaps will not fit as the rear wheel arches do not have liners unlike UK spec. Jeep seem non-committal on availability. Has anyone sourced aftermarket mudflaps, if so where from?

I believe UK spec Cherokees are different from US spec - we have wheel arch liners which precludes the fitting of US sourced mud flaps. Sounds crazy but if you look at the fitting instructions for US flaps the illustrations for fitting do not correspond to UK spec vehicles. Really wish they did because where we live the vehicle gets absolutely plastered in mud!

My dealer told me mud flaps are not available for the TH because going off road would just rip them off. Ok, so just because you have a TH does not mean you will go off road. I vote for adding mud flaps if you want them. Then, just take them off for wheelin.

Trailhawk has different wheel and rear end cladding than other models. It is a fit issue not a usage issue.

I bought the cheep ones:

I only put them on the rear and I bought a pack of clip fasteners and just attached them how I could. 16K miles and with off roading and haven't lost one yet.

Thanks for the info and pictures TractorAK, I also installed the RallyArmor UR universals on the front and rear of my trailhawk. The front flaps required cutting the mud flap to allow for the bulge in the lower rear of the fender liner but were actually easier to install as I did not have to remove the wheels.
