Hire car

I have only had the Cherokee a few weeks and still getting used to it.

Imagine my suprise when we landed at Miami airport for the start of a holiday and picking up the hire car turned out to be a limited Cherokee.

In all the years of going to the USA on holiday and hoping for but never getting a Cherokee I finally get one after buying my own

Was it a 'branded' taxi or did you use a service like Uber or Lyft?

Seems like an expensive vehicle for a major taxi service to have in their fleet.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

I think the American translation of 'hire care' is 'rental car'. I know Hertz and Avis have Cherokees in their fleet.

In my recent search for a replacement Cherokee, I found that Enterprise Car Sales had quite a few KLs at all four trim levels for sale, most of them in California. I assume that all had been retired from rental service. I think a well-appointed, spacious, fuel-efficient vehicle would have considerable appeal to the rental market.
