@clew - Have you had the chance to see a Cherokee with a plug and play kit and compare? Wondering how much more effective this is than going the KBCarstuff route . . .

Have not. Had KBCarstuff in my last car with halogen projectors, this is definitely better...the question is whats the level you want of better. If the PnP kit is say halfway in between this/OEM HID and halogen (not saying that as an accurate assessment, just a talking point), is that enough? Probably, and most will have a benefit from it. This is more effective than PnP (and better than the OEM HID setup as well), but that's not to say the other methods aren't plenty good enough.

Great write-up @clew!

I don't think I'm quite there to tackle this one yet but maybe in the future.
Love the detail you go into.

@clew Yesterday I was trying to remove the jeep flaps by the tire that is connected on the bottom with the fascia and there is a weird triangular screw. What screwdriver could I use? It is the first time I see one of those D;

I didn't see it stated anywhere , so I'm curious on what size the projector lenses are ? 2.5 or 3"? I am actually going to do a fxr retrofit next week and I'm not sure what size to get yet . Thanks in advance
