I purchased the vehicle a couple weeks ago and didn't notice wobble when I was test driving, but could definitely feel it shortly after purchase.
That's how I came upon this forum, while looking for answers. I just wanted to thank all of you for the information on this issue. Huge relief!!!
Excellent news

This wobble is like a slow torture... It's not *that bad* but it gets under your skin. Once fixed though, what a relief...
Allow your brain a few weeks to get accustomed to the shimmy being gone. That's normal. It took me months to completely forget. Well almost completely, haha.

Enjoy

I don't drive our Cherokee much but every time I do, I can feel this wobble in the front end. At first I thought it was normal until I read about the issue on here.
No grief at all. I have quite a few dealerships in the area to choose from, so I picked one that had good reviews on google.
When I called to set up an appointment I asked the service writer if he was familiar with the wobble condition, he said he was not. I then mentioned about replacing the half shafts and he was familiar with that.
When I arrived I took him for a ride, and to my disbelief, I could not make the wobble happen within our 10 minute drive. I couldn't believe it, as it would normally be pretty consistent. He told me perhaps the service tech would feel it when he would take it out to try and diagnose. He called me an hour later or so and said the tech couldn't feel it either, but they were just going to perform the TSB anyway. I was very thankful.

Thank you!!! It was a very sensitive issue for me as I had to lemon law a GM vehicle a couple years ago with this exact issue.
Props to the engineers for finding a fix for this.

hi all,

i havent experienced this yet and hope that it doesnt happen. with that said this discussion peeked my interest in TSB's. In researching them i found info on jeepsgarage site but was wondering if there was a specific site dedicated to TSB's for the KL that i can reference.

Doesn't happen on the TH since we don't have straight shafts for the drive axles.
