Front end wobbling

The front end shaking or wobbling is due to a bad design on the front axles. My 2015 V6 does it as well. While it happens in second on upshifting, you can also reproduce it when downshifting in the 15-20 mph range when in third. My nephew is the sales manager for our dealer and has confirmed with the service manager and FCA rep that there is a Star Case on the issue and that the front axles are being redesigned. Bad news is the newly designed axles won't be available for dealers to order until Q3 (2015). They are telling people to call back in the October timeframe to see if the redesigned axles are available yet. Some people have noticed a difference in the shaking with the R01 recall, but they just reprogrammed the first through third gear timing in order to make the issue less noticeable. It's not a transmission issue.

while maintaining speed to stay in 1st gear, my '15 v6 FWD seems to have the wobble (as well as when shifting into 2nd). would the new axles fix that as well, or would that be a separate issue?

(apologies if I should be posting this in one of the other transmission/wobble threads.)

Have mentioned this before, glad to hear that is actually what they 'planned'.

If you have a chance to talk to the same folks again, could you ask them "If it's a hardware issue and not the transmission, why is it that some people lose the wobble for a while after a software flash or update?"

This has been bugging me for as long as I have had the wobble (a year) as I have seen many posts here about the wobble disappearing for a time after one update or another...only to return. I don't understand how, if it is a hardware issue and not the trans or TCM software (also?) how does an update make it go away for some?

Sorry to be so long-winded, but it seems like you have an informed source and they may have an answer....thanks!

After a 2nd update to the transmission part of the computer, my wobble went away for about 2 months, it returned 2 days ago with a vengeance and was doing it a LOT. Unfortunately I am in Canada and theres really no way to get the dealer to take the vehicle back and give me a different one. Then again I haven't asked but I highly doubt they would do that...

So, I've got the wobble, how do I claim this under warrantee? Or will this be considered a TSB? I guess, in other words - is Chrysler going to take care of this for me, or will it be out of pocket?

Take it to the dealer if it's still within new car warranty limits.

The problem is in all 2014/2015 4/6 cylinders. Some vehicles you will notice it more then others but they all have it.

Would you be able to get a document to post that I can take to me dealer Tuesday ? I have a set of warped rotors on delivery and they are being replaced. I was told by my service advisor the ro1 and TCM/PCM as well as the air bag updates are all being done. When I asked for the ro1 to not be done he said he cannot do the rotors without the others as all updates and recalls are required by Chrysler for him to be paid for any warranty work.

I want the axels done as well.

Thanks.
