Question Gobi ladder and R27 recall

Anyone with or soon to have a Gobi ladder install foresee any issues in regards to said ladder and getting the lift gate recall work done? My limited knowledge of the recall and location of the work to be done is that there should be no issues... and I wouldn't think Jeep would take exception to a being ladder installed... but I thought I would ask here anyway.

The recall is to do with putting a water proof cover over the controller which is inside the back of the vehicle under the floor. Mechanically it has nothing to do with the tailgate, its just the control unit for it so you should have no probs at all.
