I was just contacted by my local dealer, they have parts and have booked it in for next week.

Wow. I used the link above and it reports my Export vehicle as having that recall open.

The old recall was to replace the rubber plug in an unused bolt hole under the left strut (motor) with a real bolt and glue a plastic cover over the control module. The bolt hole was one source of the water so they are trying to stop the leak and cover the part it was leaking onto.

Sent from a tiny mobile device with fat thumbs...

Cheers, Dave.

unfortunately I have no idea what they did, and upon inspection did not notice any changes or anything out of the ordinary.

Okay, I have been a Champion of this car since we got it last August! I love the way it handles, rides and all of the Safety and Tech features we paid for...
I would have thought the folks at the factory would have gotten this fixed before the 2016 product delivery began since it started with day one of the model line!
Where was the quality control people on this one? Yeah, I'm Piss** that our new car has a recall on it, for something that was known when it was built!

. I didn't have a clue--so here are some pictures of the bottom of my tail gate after they did recall 67. I received my notice yesterday and had the recall done this morning--I think the bottom may have a guard now--never looked at it so not sure--here is some pictures hopefully if I am successful posting it--

I hope these pictures show something--you wouldn't believe how long it took this old guy getting these on here with my windows 10 which is made for 10 year old kids--LOLS
