I have a 2015 Trailhawk and am trying to have it replaced by Jeep due to the transmission problems. They replaced the transmission at 6000. It still continues to have problems with as we call it "kicking" from 1st, now 2nd and in reverse. It's been in the dealer numerous times always for the same thing. They reprogram it and a month or two later. Same problem comes back. They are now saying it could be the accelerator... On an incline in our driveway the car will hesitate then jump forward. So over fighting about this car. I love my trailhawk but hate the transmission problems they cannot seem to correct.

Don't forget there is an option (I think standard on TH's) that keeps the vehicle from rolling backwards when stopped on an incline. My driveway has an incline and if press on the brake really hard before proceeding into my garage it does as you describe a bit and can sometime be surprising see HSA below from owners manual (disc). I am not talking about having the electric parking brake set on auto either, I do not set or like that option!
Hill Start Assist (HSA)
The HSA system is designed to help the driver accelerate the vehicle from a complete stop while on an incline. If the driver releases the brake while stopped on an incline, HSA will continue to hold the brake pressure for a short period. If the driver does not apply the throttle before this time expires, the system will release brake pressure and the vehicle will roll down the hill as normal. The system will release brake pressure in proportion to amount of throttle applied.
The following conditions must be met in order for HSA to activate:
- The vehicle must be stopped.
- The vehicle must be on a 7% (approximate) grade or greater hill.
- The gear selection must match vehicle uphill direction (i.e., vehicle facing uphill is in forward gear; vehicle backing uphill is in REVERSE gear).
- For vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, the HSA will work in REVERSE gear and all forward gears. The system will not activate if the transmission is in PARK.
I'm sure the dealer would know if that was your latest problem? (Well come think of it they might not, some dealers not up on options!)
