Hi all,

New Trailhawk owner and loving it.

I saw a couple of links about POI factory, but has anyone been able to install the red light camera database into the 8.4AN? I had a Kenwood in-dash nav unit in my previous vehicle and it worked perfectly by copying the files to an SD card inserted into the unit. See the link below:

Thanks

Excellent question, but what we've been seeing on this forum is the Navigation system is a combination of Garmin and Harman and I'm thinking that it would have to be built into the software that comes with our KL's. I would really like to add this so I hope someone has an answer. Again waiting for that 14 year old wunderkid who can hack our Navigation system and change other stuff also, like making our screens look and feel like a true Garmin Navigation unit...

Ditto. I've asked my computer savvy son to explore this idea as well. Just waiting on a visit from him...

So far I've found the following ways to access hidden menus. I'm not able to check into this right now, but maybe someone else can:

1) If you press and hold both the temperature-up (red arrow) and temperature-down (blue arrow) buttons at the same time, for 5 or so seconds, you are presented with the "Engineering Menu"

2) Hold the up, down, and front defrost buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds and then you are presented with the "Dealer Mode" menu

3) Another trick is to hold down the up, down, and Browse/Enter buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds. That puts you into touchscreen calibration mode, where you just follow the on screen instructions.
