So glad you posted this. I listened to your MP3 file... And I have this exact same squeak in my Trailhawk. It's like a rubbing squeak and it sounds like it's coming from the drivers side, in the back somewhere. I've been trying to figure it out for a month now.

I've moved the seats around to every position you can think of, and it has no effect on the sound. Just two days ago I finally did some tests with the sunroof shade - open and closed. I didn't THINK the noise was noticibly different when I closed the shade... But now I'm second guessing myself. What exactly did you do to narrow it down to the rear sunroof glass? Does your squeak go away if you open the sunroof glass? (I haven't tried this yet... If it's not raining tomorrow I'll give it a try.)

It only happens when the car is hot during the day outside. I got a friend to drive and I sat in the backseat and I could hear the squeaking coming from the roof in the back where the sunroof is.

The sound is the same when I open or close the sunroof. I've applied 303 aerospace lubricant on the inside and outside black seals and screws and brackets. Will see how it drives tomorrow. If there's still a squeak I'll talk to the dealer.

ok, listened to your recording .. not the same noise I get from the rear seat.

What you have sounds like papers rustling or something flapping in a breeze.

The rear seat that many have experienced is a higher pitched squeak that goes away temporarily when the rear driver's-side seat is moved.

Well I've seemed to have fixed the issue. It was the rear sunroof panel.

I applied lots of "303 aerospace lubricant" to the seals, screws, brackets and also onto the seals on the top of the sunroof outside. No more noise anymore

I agree with a few of the more recent commenters that is not the same sound as the rear seat issue.

It's The Sunroof Seal

Just bought my limited last week and noticed a creaking as soon as the ambient air temp got below 80 degrees. Service department said Chrysler has written up a "ticket" on it due to so many complaints. They have a special lube which they are going to apply next week. Just don't think this should be a condition in a btrand new car. When air temp is up the seal expands naturally to reduce the creaking sound.

I have sunroofs since my first new car... and once in a while... I always apply some silicon base lubricant.
