In other words you get more three and two wheel action because of less articulation but the locker and blds make it a non issue. Also I carry some tire deflators set at 17 lbs. With the tires down and the soft independent suspension it just floats over rough terrain.

For those wondering about this little creek crossing the difficulty is in the deceptively steep inclines. Almost like the rear is still coming down when the front starts to lift. The only tricky part is getting up the other side. It is loose sand and you have to get some momentum. The first two attempts I was crawled up until I high centered on the skid plates but was still able to get out in reverse. The third time I waited until my front tires started to climb and gave it a little gas giving me enough momentum to clear the top of the incline. In a harder terrain I think I could have crawled it but the loose sand and incline made even the small contact with the skid plates enough to spin the tires. For comparison this same place in my jk had to be taken the same way. The jk with 3inch lift would high center at the top and needed momentum. The trailfox needed to he let down a little more carefully into the creek due to its longer front end. It was doable with only slight contact on the very bottom of the bumper but the jk never had a fear of approach angle here.

Overall I'm very happy that the trailfox is good enough off road that I can still enjoy the trails without tearing it up.
Fantastic Pics and post bud! great to see the TH out in its natural habitat!

Just posted these in the Photo Gallery too.

Here's my default place west of Phoenix to go and do a quick offroad test.

Nalcyon - your description of off-road characteristics is spot on.
