To Lift or To Lower... That is the question!

So I am tossing around the idea of lifting or lowering my granite V6 latitude. Any thoughts out there? Anyone do either? Photos? Costs? How would either affect my handling and gas mileage? Any other adverse affects?

Thanks!

I could be wrong as i'm still new here... One guy is working on a custom lift, as none are currently on the market... jeep made one, think its called daker ???
it was very cost prohibitive, but looks cool as heck
As far as lowering...not sure if its been done

Not sure why you'd want to lower a Cherokee, so I vote lift it whenever someone actually comes out with a cost effective solution.

Seems like two completely different options. From one end of the scale to the other.

Lifting would be the only thing worth doing to a Jeep.
Lowering? Well that's just gangster, and makes no sense at all.

Lowering a Jeep is a car crime and will bring you more bad luck than a black cat walking over a broken mirror under a ladder on Friday the 13th with a full moon.

I would say lift, but that is my personal preference. Having said that, I believe part of why neither have been done with the exception of the Dakar Cherokee Jeep made for show is that the Cherokees do not do well with altered suspension angles. Here is a thread about lifting that IIRC has comments about the problems that folks are trying to work out...
