Love that growl
Mine has it to, although I don't think its the exhaust tho. Sounds like the fuel pump or a solenoid.

Yes, I took it in for the loud high pitch whine. They ordered a new rear end module with the solenoid as this is where the noise is coming from.

Interesting, guys, thanks. @JeepKL : would you happen to have part numbers for those please ? Pardon my ignorance, but what is that *rear end module* you are referring to ?
Thanks...

Gebus, they have to replace the whole rear end to replace the solenoid?? Sounds like a giant engineering flaw heh. I think I'll wait till mine gives me trouble. I don't feel like having a brand new vehicle with less than 1k miles tore apart and put back together. Heh

I am not sure what the stock piping size is on the Trailhawk, maybe 2.5"??? but I was thinking of doing the magnaflow catback system and it has 2.5" tubing and a dual exit 4" muffler. I am thinking it will sound great paired with my CAI from aFe (which VASTLY improves stock sounds when you open up the throttle, but stays dormant when you are normally driving which is great for times you are with someone and want to talk. But you always have the option to shut them up if you get on it ) Anyway I didn't know if anyone here has put the magnaflow exhaust on their Trailhawk and could shed some light on idle and getting after it sound! Thank you.

Alex

No, the motor that engages the rear axel is outside the diff and that is what was replaced. It's much better now!
