If there is a sub in the right panel, does this eliminate the plug? I do have a power port on the left panel below the cargo bracket.

FUTURE MODS: Remote CD Player; Mopar Rock Rails; Rear Fog Lights.

Yep, so does my 2015. It should be GFCI protected also, but there is no indication of this (i.e. test and reset buttons).

Tripping it might mean replacing the fuse in the box.

True. Not sure what other protection circuitry is in the inverter too. Found this:

"The 115V AC inverter will reset and may not immediately return to normal operation (depending on what is connected) and manually plugging out and back in of the device may be required."

It's a small one. When i get the chance i'll see if it says the wattage on it. But yeah it works good.

I believe this thread is about the A/C outlet in the back of the console by the vent. I suppose designed for back seat passengers to plug in their devices...the port you are referring to is a 12v lighter socket if I'm not mistaken.
